Google TV via Set Top Boxes

Google is doing an experiment with their search software using set top boxes. They are working using a digital set top boxes which will allow Dish Network subscribers search for video contents in the Internet.

There are lots of questions in my mind here and some of these are the following:

  1. What if I don't have Internet connection?
  2. Do I still have to subscribe for an Internet service for me to search video contents?
  3. Does this mean that my subscription will be flooded with Google advertisements?
