This question has been around for so many years now. A lot of subscribers of Cable TV and Satellite TV are exchanging advantages and disadvantages of both Pay-TV services.

With an unbiased information, I will give you my own opinion:

I have tried both Cable TV and Satellite TV services for so many years now. Both Pay-TV providers are giving the best services that they can give for their subscribers, but these are my key points to determine which is better.

2 - Which has more channels with a low expense
3 - What are the programs that I need that I'm not going to pay more
4 - Do I need TV+Internet+Phone bundle or just Pay-TV subscription?
5 - Who can give me the best receiver where I can watch my favorite shows in different rooms
6 - Which of them has the best DVR service

Can you put more than one TV on a Dish Network receiver?

Actually, Yes.

You can put all of your televisions from different rooms in just 1-receiver. However, there is a big problem. If you are using 1-receiver and 4 of your TV are connected to it, all of your television set will have identical channel.

In the good side, if you don't want to spend a lot of your money in buying additional receivers, this is a good way to watch the same channels in different rooms.

But if you want to get different channels on different rooms, I suggest to ask your retailer that you want to have a multiroom receiver.
