In addition to providing TV programming to my TVs, I would like to have the ability to view all the usual TV programming on my computer. My computer is set up with Microsoft Windows Media Center and I am currently viewing programming using Comcast. Do Dish and Direct require any additional equipment or charges to stream programming to my computer? Comcast is seamless as the programming goes into my wired home and splitters take care of directing the signal to either TV or computer with no extra boxes being required.

Once you're already subscribed to either satellite TV provider, what you need to do is to call the Customer Support and ask them how you can set up your streaming satellite tv service to your computer.
You can also create your account in Dish Network and Direct TV official website, and once you're logged in, you can just search for the software they have included to stream your satellite tv signal to your computer. You need to install that software in your PC.
